September 30th, 2012

[Things definitely seemed fishy with the card Booth had been given, but the complete lack of memory left him just unsure enough to not discount all of it.

He could remember a lot of rock 'n roll, after all, and relistening to several recordings at the library had confirmed that he really did like it. Finding an old guitar in the item shop had proved to be a bust...but he figured that might be the memory thing, too. After all, remembering how to play chords was probably important for something like that, whatever people were saying about muscle memory. And all the suits in his closet definitely implied a professional sort of career.

So, putting his doubts aside, he decided to give this night club ownership thing a whirl...and what better way to do that than karaoke?

Earlier in the day, Booth flipped open the journal to make the announcement and, with his tie and jacket gone, his resemblance to a certain, missing vampire was a bit more striking than usual.]

I'm making this up as I go, but it seems I'm in charge of the night club we've got here. Not that I remember anything, but hey. If we've got a night club, we might as well rock, am I right?

So, screw forgetting. We're gonna have a rock 'n roll karaoke night at Cloud Nine tonight. Anyone's welcome and the drinks are free... just leave that soft-rock crap at the door.

[and, true to his word, the club will be set to go come 9 o'clock, with a microphone, lyric screens, and and a ready sound system waiting for any who are brave enough to try.

Unfortunately for anyone in the audience, this includes John himself. At least he's enthusiastic?]
